Backstage Pass
As a professional puppeteer I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wondeful and talented people. These are the people that have the ability to inspire, challenge and shape you as an artist. These are the people that are honest, sincere, and have your best interest at heart. They are the folks that believe in you by giving you opportunities that otherwise may have passed you by. I am sure you have heard the saying “It’s not what you know , but who you know”? To some extent I believe that to be true. I am what I am today partly because of the people that I have been so blessed to have crossed my path. To think that I have had the pleasure of doing what I love to do for the past 21 years has truly made me a rich man in so many ways. I am truly thankful to able to make my living from my art.

When I was young growing up with Ed Sullivan my favorite performers were the ventriloquists, especially sherry Lewis and Lamchop. I loved the puppets shows like Howdy Doody. My mother made me hand puppet that I named Willie that I wish I still had.
I forgot about puppetry and ventriloquism till I turned 6o on March 17, 2009. I was suddenly taken. It’s funny we had two Berrylane Buddies that my wife bought several years ago that we used for decoration. I looked at the tag and found the maker, Image Puppet Productions. I’ve ordered several puppets from them that I’m very pleased with.
I eventually want to use my ventriloquism, puppets, and storybox for storytelling and teaching.
